Sack of Potatoes

Hello Everybody.

I'm kind of embarrassed in a way from my previous posts. I've seriously grown up a bit since then and still have a love for cycling. I want to continue this blog again because it is good to look back on and learn from mistakes and see how ridiculous I was. There has been a lot of changes and some things still changing. I took two years off from racing. The reasons were stupid. I lost myself. I gave up. I wanted to please everybody else and tuned myself out.

I can't explain why things are happening the way they are now, but I am a lot happier and have more friends than ever and making more as time goes by. I just turn to my bike when I have hard times as probably a lot of other people do. I still have a faint dream...This time I don't care what anybody thinks of me and nobody is going to stop me. The only direction is forward.

So I plan to start back racing next season. I'm getting my bike tuned/upgraded a bit to get it ready. I also decided to finally get a professional bike fit from Cycles Unlimited in Springfield, MO. I wish I would of done this about four years ago because I was a sack of potatoes. It was like night and day. I am very excited to start training and feeling right on my bike. I am looking for possibly a development team to learn on for next year. Anyway I just know I have to ride lots and do what makes me happy. So thanks for reading my blog and happy cycling to you :) Also I have a favorite restaurant called Tropical Cafe Smoothie .. I got a smoothie called health nut.. AMAZING.. super healthy stuff. :)
